November 2011:Christmas parcels to Zimbabwe.
New Hope sent 3 boxes, containing individual Christmas gifts, to each of the children listed in the three centres it supports in Zimbabwe.
Each gift contains something educational, a new item of clothing, a toy or activity, sweets and a toothbrush.
Some more general resources have also been squeezed into the boxes; and this year there will be Santa hats, balloons and odd as it may sound, a dozen penguins - the Happy Feet variety - at the Chadcombe Parents' and Children's Party!
A big Thank You to all the volunteers who have, over the year, helped to collect, store, fund-raise, gift-wrap and box for shipping, these special gifts which should arrive in time for Christmas.
